The data center is manned by onsite security on a 24x365 basis. Visitors and customers must present a valid picture I.D. and both Private and shared caged areas are protected by biometric hand geometry readers and configured with overhead cable distribution systems, dual AC and DC power distribution raceways, and anonymous cabinets that can be individually locked if necessary.
These data centers are home to the giants of the internet plus numerous other organizations with mission-critical hosting needs. In addition to using BGP to manage network connectivity, the network utilizes Internap’s Flow Control Platform to enhance network traffic delivery. The FCP technology not only evaluates the network connection to each peer, but also traces the top network destinations across each available provider to ensure the best possible route is taken. This minimizes the chances of connectivity issues between your content and your customer.
